Alice Black and Tatiana Cheneviere

About

  • Alice Black iis co-founder of ALICE BLACK (est. 2017), known for its cross-disciplinary programme and support for emerging practices. She serves on the Development Committee of the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA), London; mentors at Brave Projects and the Sarabande Foundation (est. Alexander McQueen); and lectures at Christie's Education, Sotheby’s Institute and  Goldsmiths, University of London. In 2020, she was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 for Art & Culture.

  • Tatiana Cheneviere , founder of Pipeline (est. 2022), brings nearly a decade of experience from Gagosian, where she developed expertise in global art markets. Her innovative two-room exhibition format - introducing each show with a preview work from the next artist - has been praised for cultivating slow, meaningful engagement. She is a champion of cross-regional collaboration, working with artists and institutions beyond the capital. Cheneviere mentors at Brave Projects.

Black + Cheneviere is a new-generation art advisory firm. We provide expert, personalised advice to collectors who want to buy and build with intention. We work as an independent partner across both the primary and secondary markets. Distinct from other advisory firms, B+C are committed to cultivating a vibrant network of exchange and engagement - one that goes beyond simple transactions to bring people closer to the creative process. Our aim is to foster a more active, thoughtful role for collectors within the cultural ecosystem. This is an invitation to engage more deeply - with art, with artists, and with the ideas shaping our world.

Black + Cheneviere is founded by Alice Black and Tatiana Cheneviere, two independent London gallerists, with a global network and deep collective experience.
